The Western Wood Energy Power Plant (WWEP) is a biomass-fired power plant with an annual fuel input of 160,000 tonnes of forestry wood or clean, uncontaminated residues from wood processing.

The O&M of the complete plant was carried out through a UK registered O&M company partly-owned by AET and supported by the team in Aalborg.

The O&M contract had a duration of 5 years after which extension of the contract can be negotiated.
