Aalborg Energie Technik a/s Biomass Boiler Plant
Biomass has become a rapidly increasing energy source for ENGIE Cofely, which has seen an increase in the number of projects using biomass. Most of the projects are based on wood but also on the development of energy crops and cereal waste.
The AET Biomass Boiler plant was successfully commissioned and handed over at the end of 2011. The official performance test carried out by Bureau Veritas (APR 2013) showed the following performances:
All measured performances were better than the guaranteed performances by a good margin.
AET designed, supplied, constructed and commissioned the following scope of supply:
Video regarding the biomass-fired cogeneration facility for supplying steam to the Saipol plant in Grand-Couronne.
Video from the construction of the BCN plant.
The biomass-fired CHP plant at BCN has an impressive boiler efficiency.
Emissions presented by ENGIE Cofely and AET at PowerGen 2012.
