Design Parameters

AET’s process steam systems and CHP plants are designed for all forms of biomass, particularly chip wood, wood waste, wood dust and bark but also more alternative bio fuels such as poultry litter, spent mushroom compost and meat and bone meal.

The design parameters below describe the basis of our plants:

Steam quality According to VGB requirements for turbine operation
Flue gas residence time Approx. 2 sec. before 850°C
Operating time At least 8000 hours without shutdown for manual cleaning
Boiler efficiency 91% according to EN 12952-15
Emission values CO<50mg/Nm3, NOx<200mg/Nm3, C<5 mg/Nm3, Dust<5 mg/Nm3
