The Pfleiderer Neumarkt station is a biomass fired co-generation plant owned and operated by the Pfleiderer AG.
The CHP Plant was the second supply to the Pfleiderer AG and also mentioned as Best Available Technology (BAT) in the IPPC report 'Large Combustion Plants' made by the EU in 2006. Online emission data

The station burns 130.000 tons of contaminated wood chips, demolition wood, railway sleepers, saw and sander dust annually.
Increased capacity to 100 MW
The station was commissioned in 1997 for a capacity of 73 MWfuel heat input. In 2001 the power station was increased in capacity to 100 MWfuel heat input.
