The Gütersloh plant is a biomass co-generation plant built for and operated by the chipboard manufacturing group, Pfleiderer AG.
The CHP plant was the third supply to the Pfleiderer AG and also mentioned as Best Available Technology (BAT) in the IPPC report "Large Combustion Plants" made by the EU in 2006.

The co-generation plant burns approx. 120.000 tons of contaminated wood, wood waste, demolition wood, saw and sander dust annually.
AET supply
Aalborg Energie Technik a/s has carried out the design, engineering, supply, erection and commissioning of the fuel handling system, the boiler plant and the flue gas cleaning system on a turnkey basis. The systems supplied include:
