Aalborg Energie Technik a/s (AET) Biomass Co-Generation Plant:
The CHP plant was the third plant delivered to Pfleiderer AG and was mentioned as Best Available Technology (BAT) in the IPPC report "Large Combustion Plants" published by the EU in 2006.

The cogeneration plant burns approx. 120 000 tons of contaminated wood, wood waste, demolition wood, saw and sander dust annually.
In 2012 the availability was 96% (8420 hours).
AET has carried out the design, engineering, supply, erection and commissioning of the fuel handling system, the boiler plant and the flue gas cleaning system on a turnkey basis. The systems supplied include:
