Aalborg Energie Technik’s boiler plants are equipped with electrical systems that support our goal of building plants with a high output and a low net consumption. Based on our customers´ demand for low operating and maintenance costs compared to invested capital, we strive to equip our plants with the best technology based on advanced but nevertheless well-tried solutions.
Functions The electrical distribution systems that we are working with include the following main areas:
- Generation and distribution of electrical power
- Medium voltage systems, panels and transformers for voltage level 6-20 kV and effects up to 25 MVA
- Low voltage distribution and centralised generation from the power station with 400 V and 690 V systems
- UPS systems
- Earthing and lightning protection
- Lighting systems and fire incident reporting systems
Control SystemsWe mainly work with control systems from Siemens: Simatic S5 and S7, WinCC and PCS7. In addition, we have experience with systems supplied by ABB, Rockwell and Eurotherm, etc.
Our safety system meets the strictest requirements from TÜV for plants intended for operation without constant supervision.
We use KKS numbering (VGB Richtlinien, Kraftwerks-Kennzeichen-System) of systems and components.
Plant Structure and Key Concepts AET’s design of the control systems includes local periphery, fieldbus technology, communication network and servers.
We can also provide the control system with a modem for remote control in order to facilitate service activities.
